Five years after the end of the hit series “Suits,” Duchess Meghan is said to have hardly any contact with any of her co-stars. But now Wendell Pierce not only reveals that he has met the former actress several times. He also reveals juicy details about her marriage to Prince Harry.
Duchess Meghan , 42, met one of her best friends on the set of the hit series “Suits”: Abigail Spencer , 42. The two women are still very close to this day, and the actress also spoke out in the Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan”. However, the wife of Prince Harry , 39, does not seem to keep in touch with other former co-stars. At this year’s Golden Globes, Gina Torres , 55, revealed in an interview with “Variety” that there is a group chat with some “Suits” stars – but Meghan is not a part of it . Torres immediately gave the reason: “We don’t have her number”.
Wendell Pierce , 60, who played the father of Meghan’s character Rachel Zane for years in the series, seems to have a good connection with the 42-year-old, as he now reveals.

At the Tony Awards in New York on Sunday, June 16, Wendell Pierce revealed that he last met Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry last year. The couple apparently made an extremely loving impression on the actor. “When [Meghan] came to town – she received an award last year – I had the opportunity to say ‘hello’ and wish her, Prince Harry and the children all the best,” Pierce now tells the US magazine “People”.
With that award, the “The Wire” star probably means the “Women of Vision Award”, whichThe mother of two was awarded the prize in May 2023 in the metropolis on the east coast. “They look very much in love and were very happy, that’s the most important thing,” adds the 60-year-old. The evening was supposed to end with a chase for the dropout royals , but that apparently didn’t change their love.
“We were able to reminisce”
Pierce goes on to say that working with Meghan on the legal series was “great fun” for him. Since the end of “Suits” in 2019, Wendell Pierce has met with the current Duchess several times. “I’ve seen her a few times since then and we’ve been able to reminisce and it’s true that we have fond memories of working together,” enthuses the “Selma” actor.
