Princess Kate revealed what her daughter Princess Charlotte likes to eat as a snack, which may surprise people.
Princess Charlotte has an appropriately sophisticated palate for a member of the Royal Family, despite only just turning nine years old.
Her preferred choice of snack was revealed by mum Princess Kate during a school visit to North London back in 2019, when Charlotte was still barely old enough to go to school herself.
While at Lavender Primary School in Enfield Kate said that her daughter “loves olives”, a surprising choice for a child given how salty and sharp they can be.
The Princess was there as part of Children’s Mental Health Week and was told to bring along an item that made her feel happy, in the case a charming family photo of herself with Prince William and their children at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
In 2018 Kate confessed to a young patient at Great Ormond Street Hospital that Charlotte’s unusual taste in food may be inherited from her.

Kate told a four-year-old patient at the hospital: “I used to eat lots and lots of olives when I was little as well.”
Although the Princess usually maintains a healthy diet, she still likes to treat herself every now and then.
When she visited Canada and the USA with Prince William before Charlotte was born, she was seen happily tucking into a bag of popcorn at a basketball game.
HELLO! reported: “During the royal tour of Canada and the USA in 2014, Kate’s passion for popcorn was revealed when she and William attended a basketball game in New York.
